Living Beyond Breast Cancer - This local, Philadelphia Area organization boasts a vast array of resources, hotlines, conferences, teleconferences, medical information, and much more for those in all stages of breast cancer and survivorship. Check out LBBC's Webinar and events, such as conferences and local supportive, health-promoting programs.
Society for Integrative Oncology - The SIO is a multidisciplinary, international, non-profit organization promoting evidence-based integrative cancer therapies, such as massage therapy, acupuncture, and stress reduction. The SIO's members include top integrative oncologists from Memorial Sloan Kettering, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and MD Anderson Cancer Centers. Please visit the SIO's website for more information. Members of the SIO include oncologists, researchers, acupuncturists, nurses, naturopathic physicians, psychologists, massage therapists, herbalists, and social workers. These experts have published Clinical Practice Guidelines for lung and breast cancer, which can be found on the website. These guidelines represent the most stringently researched, evidence-based recommendations for the use of integrative oncology care modalities for patients and providers.
